The summer has been full of outdoor events ranging from park runs, food and drink experiences, music gigs and family festivals. Up and down the country weekend crowds are gathering to enjoy the very best entertainment available and the sunshine is a real added extra!
Some well organised businesses are fully prepared to take their offering to the consumer. Stanley Street, based near Oundle, is a great example of this. Started in 2015, chef Stanley, applied his training as a pâtissier to branch out and bring the rising demand for street food to the masses. When travelling abroad, he would always take a cookery class in each new country, so as to add to his collection of fresh dishes to create for outdoor eating. His menu now includes Moroccan lamb tagine, traditional falafel, massaman beef curry, raclette, and Lebanese chicken tawook. He adjusts his menus according to the seasons and availability, using local produce where possible.
